KABUL: The spokesman of the General Directorate of Olympic, Physical Education, and Sports, Atal Meshwani said in a statement today that the members of the Afghanistan national beach soccer team have departed for Thailand.
According to him, the team is traveling to participate in a training camp and prepare for the 2025 Asian Beach Soccer Championship.
The national beach soccer team members set off for Thailand after a farewell meeting with the leadership of the General Directorate and the Football Federation.
The Asian Beach Soccer Championship is scheduled to take place on March 20, hosted by Thailand.
