PUL-E-ALAM: The Chamber of Commerce and Investment Department of Logar said in a statement on Monday that fresh fruits and vegetables worth 8 billion Afghani have been exported to the world markets within 11 months of the outgoing solar year.
According to officials, managing water and leasing government land to farmers has led to an increase in exports.
At the same time, some traders say that most of these fresh fruits and vegetables are exported to Pakistan.
It is worth noting that Logar province is considered one of the most important agricultural regions in Afghanistan, and the production of fresh fruits and vegetables is considered valuable for the country’s economy.
