KABUL: After the closure of two American media outlets, the British government has announced plans to consider budget cuts for the BBC’s international broadcasting media outlet.
Government officials in the UK have stated that discussions regarding the reduction of the BBC’s budget are underway, but no final decision has been made yet.
This comes after the United States also halted funding for its two international media outlets, Voice of America and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.
Reports have emerged indicating that all employees of Voice of America have received responses regarding the situation.
