KABUL: As tensions between India and Pakistan escalate following a deadly attack on tourists in Kashmir, Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, has stated that his country is ready to facilitate dialogue between the two sides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a post on his X handle on Friday, he emphasized that India and Pakistan, as neighboring countries, have relationships rooted in centuries of cultural and civilizational ties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He stressed that Tehran, like its other neighbors, considers New Delhi and Islamabad among its top priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Araghchi expressed Iran’s willingness to take steps to enhance understanding between the two parties during these difficult times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Relations between India and Pakistan have been extremely tense in recent days, with military confrontations occurring along their border, in addition to diplomatic efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
