KABUL: The British special forces stationed in Afghanistan and Iraq have recently confessed and revealed the war crimes they committed by shooting civilians while asleep and captive children.
The BBC’s Global Service reported today that several British special forces members disclosed eyewitness accounts from their comrades during the program “Panorama.”
\u201cKilling detainees had become a routine practice. We would arrest an individual, handcuff them, and then kill them, often placing a fake pistol next to the body,\u201d they said.
One SBS (Special Boat Service) soldier noted that some of his comrades exhibited a frenzied group mentality, and their behavior during operations was brutal.
He emphasized that British special forces acted lawlessly, believing no one could hold them accountable.
