KABUL: A medical center named “Friendship Afghanistan-Pakistan” has been established at the Kharlachi border crossing along the Durand Line and has been inaugurated for operation, Muhammad Sadiq Khan, Pakistan’s special representative for Afghanistan, said in a post on his X on Wednesday.
According to Khan, the center was jointly created by Afghan and Pakistani authorities, equipped with advanced medical tools and facilities.
\u201cIt includes a laboratory, pharmacy, and services for cardiac examinations, blood pressure, and blood sugar measurements,\u201d he added.
The senior Pakistani diplomat emphasized that the health center will provide medical services to Afghan citizens, particularly those living along the Durand Line.
The aim behind establishing the medical center is to strengthen friendly relations between the residents on both sides of the Durand Line and to enhance the spirit of humanitarian service.
Kharlachi, along with Spin Boldak, Torkham, and Ghulam Khan, is one of the crossings located along the Durand Line that facilitates movement between Pakistan and Afghanistan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
