KABUL: Donald Trump, the U.S. President, in a post on his X account on Monday night announced that the Israeli regime and the Iranian government have agreed to a complete ceasefire following 12 days of conflict.
According to Trump, the ceasefire will be implemented after his announcement and the final operations undertaken by both Iran and Israel.
He stated that Iran will first observe a 12-hour ceasefire, followed by a 12-hour ceasefire from Israel, resulting in a total ceasefire lasting 24 hours.
Trump expressed, \u201cI congratulate both countries for their resilience, courage, and wisdom in bringing an end to the 12-day war.\u201d
He noted that the conflict could have lasted for years and could have devastated the entire Middle East.
