KABUL: Following the conclusion of the 12-day conflict between Tehran and Tel Aviv, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has congratulated his people on what he described as a victory for Tehran in the war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his speech, Khamenei stated that Iran has succeeded not only against the Zionist regime but also against the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He claimed that the U.S. was involved in the conflict “to completely eliminate the Israeli regime,” but asserted that neither Tehran nor Tel Aviv achieved any significant gains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The remarks come as U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Washington will resume nuclear negotiations with Tehran next week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Reuters, the U.S. may once again request that Iran halt its nuclear programs in the upcoming discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
