KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump has ordered the deployment of at least two nuclear submarines in response to recent statements by Dmitry Medvedev, the current Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trump in a post on his X account on Friday called Medvedev’s remarks as “provocative.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He stated that the nuclear submarines would be positioned in “appropriate areas” to ensure readiness in case these “foolish and incendiary” comments lead to more than just words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He emphasized the importance of language, noting that certain terms could lead to “unintended consequences.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
International media has reported that the submarines will be stationed near Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
