KABUL: U.S. police have arrested an Israeli cyber official on charges of child exploitation (specifically, as a “child predator”) in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
International media reported on Saturday night, that this Israeli official was among eight individuals detained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to U.S. police information, 38-year-old Tam Artem Alexandrovich was arrested in Las Vegas for allegedly “deceiving children using a computer for sexual acts.” This individual, whose specific position has not been disclosed, was invited to the U.S. for a cybersecurity event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was released from custody ten days ago (August 7) after posting a $10,000 bail. The operation to arrest these individuals was conducted covertly by various agencies, including the FBI, Homeland Security, Metro Police, Henderson Police, and North Las Vegas Police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It remains unclear what legal consequences await those arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
