KABUL: Iran’s Foreign Ministry has condemned the Israeli attack on Ahmed Ghaleb Nasser al-Rahwi, the Prime Minister of Yemen’s “Change and Reconstruction” government, along with several cabinet ministers, describing it as a “terrorist crime.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a statement issued today, the ministry in the strongest possible terms denounced the killing of the Prime Minister and several members of the Houthi government’s cabinet, emphasizing the need for global action and solidarity among Islamic countries to curb the “lawlessness” of the Israeli regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The statement read: “The barbaric crime of the Zionist regime in its military aggression against Yemen’s infrastructure and residential areas, and the assassination of high-ranking officials and innocent Yemeni citizens, is not only a clear example of war crimes and crimes against humanity but also a malicious act of revenge against a nation that stands in support of Palestine.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, targeting Yemeni government officials will not diminish their resolve and determination to defend their dignity and that of the Palestinian people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
