KABUL: Donald Trump, the President of the United States, announced on his X account on Tuesday that he plans to initiate a $15 billion legal battle against The New York Times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trump claims the lawsuit is based on allegations of “defamation and slander” against what he describes as the “worst and most corrupt” newspaper in U.S. history, which he believes has become a “virtual megaphone for the radical left Democratic Party.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He stated, “The Times has systematically lied about your favorite President (me!), my family, my business, the America First movement, MAGA, and our entire nation for years.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trump also accused The New York Times of promoting his electoral rival Kamala Harris in last year’s elections. According to him, the lawsuit will be filed in the state of Florida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So far, the leadership of The New York Times has not responded to Trump’s allegations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
