{"id":16242,"date":"2025-11-12T08:49:24","date_gmt":"2025-11-12T08:49:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/?p=16242"},"modified":"2025-11-12T08:49:25","modified_gmt":"2025-11-12T08:49:25","slug":"senior-afghan-delegate-in-turkey-talks-pakistans-demands-were-unreasonable","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/2025\/11\/12\/senior-afghan-delegate-in-turkey-talks-pakistans-demands-were-unreasonable\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior Afghan Delegate in Turkey Talks: Pakistan&#8217;s demands were unreasonable"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KABUL: Mawlavi Rahmatullah Najeeb, Deputy Minister of Interior Affairs, stated during a meeting with traders and industrialists in the presence of Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar that the Pakistani delegation presented unreasonable demands during the Turkey-hosted talks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He met with a number of traders in Kabul, in the presence of Mullah Baradar Akhund the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He noted, &#8220;The Pakistani delegation requested the Afghan side to curb the violence in Pakistan and asked the Islamic Emirate to issue a fatwa to stop the ongoing conflicts. However, the issues of violence in Pakistan are their own concern, and we cannot issue a fatwa on this matter.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Mawlavi Najeeb, the Afghan delegation also requested that Pakistan hand over officials linked to ISIS and emphasized that trade between Kabul and Islamabad should not be politicized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He further stated that, due to the unreasonable nature of all Pakistani demands, the Afghan delegation was unable to respond adequately, and the negotiations consequently ended without any results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Pakistani officials have stated that they would be willing to return to the negotiation table with the Afghan delegation if invited by mediating countries like Turkey&nbsp;and&nbsp;Qatar.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KABUL: Mawlavi Rahmatullah Najeeb, Deputy Minister of Interior Affairs, stated during a meeting with traders and industrialists in the presence of Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar that the Pakistani delegation presented unreasonable demands during the Turkey-hosted talks.
