KABUL: Dr. Sayed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, has stated that the U.S. and Iran are at a historic crossroads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a post on X on Sunday night, Araghchi shared that in an interview with CNN, he noted that Washington and Tehran have the potential to reach a “fair and comprehensive” agreement to ensure that “no nuclear weapons” exist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also mentioned: \u201cThe possibility of miscalculations and even aggression exists, emphasizing that Iran is equally prepared for such scenarios.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Araghchi stressed that a “beneficial outcome” of an agreement for both the U.S. and Iran is achievable, even within a short time frame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His comments come amid ongoing efforts by intermediaries to broker an agreement between the two sides to prevent military confrontation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
