KABUL: Mirwais Aziz, the President of Aziz Group, stated that all necessary equipment for the commencement of power production projects using solar and coal resources in the country has been purchased.
According to Radio Omid correspondent, he made the remarks today during the signing ceremony of contracts for five power production projects in Kabul.
In the ceremony, the President of Azizi Group referred to electricity and energy as essential and vital sectors for the country, noting that Afghanistan can achieve economic prosperity by utilizing its mineral wealth and these resources.
He emphasized that if every individual fulfills their responsibilities towards Afghanistan, the country will reach a higher level of development.
Mr. Aziz clarified that the goal of constructing projects under Azizi Group is not solely to produce electrical energy but also to reduce the economic crisis and create conditions for industrial growth.
He also mentioned that with the availability of electricity, a large number of factories will become operational, creating job opportunities for millions of people in various fields, and Afghanistan will free itself from dependency on foreign countries.
