KABUL: The leaders of Germany, France, and the United Kingdom have warned that they could join the conflict if Iran continues missile strikes against countries not involved in the initial U.S.-Israeli military operations.
According to a report by RBC-Ukraine on Sunday night, the warning was included in a joint statement published on the website of the German government.
The three European leaders said Iran\u2019s \u201creckless missile attacks\u201d are targeting some of Europe\u2019s closest partners in the Middle East, threatening both military personnel and civilians in those countries.
The statement expressed alarm over what it described as disproportionate Iranian missile strikes against regional states, including those that were not involved in the initial military actions by the United States and Israel.
\u201cThe three countries warned that if the situation continues, they may take necessary and proportionate defensive measures to protect their interests and allies in the region, potentially including actions aimed at neutralizing Iran\u2019s missile and drone launch capabilities.\u201d
