{"id":19315,"date":"2026-03-15T09:10:55","date_gmt":"2026-03-15T09:10:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/?p=19315"},"modified":"2026-03-15T09:10:56","modified_gmt":"2026-03-15T09:10:56","slug":"afghanistan-to-export-eight-shipments-to-five-countries-under-new-initiative","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/2026\/03\/15\/afghanistan-to-export-eight-shipments-to-five-countries-under-new-initiative\/","title":{"rendered":"Afghanistan to export eight shipments to five countries under new initiative"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KABUL: Afghanistan&#8217;s Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation said eight export shipments from Afghanistan are set to be sent simultaneously to five countries under a new initiative aimed at boosting trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a statement on Sunday, the ministry said the shipments will be exported to Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Australia, and the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the statement, the consignments, consisting of dried fruits, jam, pressure cookers, and energy drinks, will be transported via the Torghundi Port and the Lapis Lazuli Route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The statement said the ministry has coordinated the transit process to facilitate the transfer of the shipments and support national exports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the plan, the goods will first travel through the Lapis Lazuli route passing through Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Georgia to Turkey, before being forwarded to their final destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ministry said expanding transit corridors, promoting exports and imports, and supporting international transport companies remain among its top priorities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KABUL: Afghanistan&#8217;s Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation said eight export shipments from Afghanistan are set to be sent simultaneously to five countries under a new initiative aimed at boosting trade.
