Iran\u2019s speaker Qalibaf denies talks with U.S., calls reports \u2018fake news\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
KABUL: Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, speaker of Iran\u2019s parliament, said there have been no negotiations with the United States, dismissing related reports as \u201cfake news.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a post on X, Qalibaf said Iranians have expressed widespread anger over recent actions by the U.S. and Israel, calling for a \u201cdecisive and punishing\u201d response against what he described as aggressors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that all Iranian officials remain firmly aligned with the country\u2019s leadership and people in pursuing that objective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
