{"id":19696,"date":"2026-04-01T12:07:17","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T12:07:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/?p=19696"},"modified":"2026-04-01T12:07:19","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T12:07:19","slug":"npc-approved-17-development-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/2026\/04\/01\/npc-approved-17-development-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"NPC approved 17 development projects"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KABUL: Afghanistan\u2019s National Procurement Commission has approved 17 development projects worth 1 billion Afghanis (some 14 million U.S. dollars), officials said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The decision was made during a meeting, which was chaired by Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs of the Islamic Emirate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a statement from the deputy PM office, the approved projects include the construction of a university dormitory in Panjshir province, a medical faculty building in Badakhshan province, and the completion of key road infrastructure linking Kunar and Nuristan provinces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other projects included the construction of public hospitals in districts of Ghazni, Faryab, and Nangarhar provinces, as well as electricity distribution initiatives across several regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A total of 42 projects were reviewed in the meeting.
