Vance, U.S. President Donald Trump\u2019s vice president, has arrived in Islamabad to hold talks with Iran\u2019s delegation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trump\u2019s special envoys for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, also arrived in Islamabad on a separate aircraft and were welcomed by Pakistani officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The talks are scheduled to begin today (Saturday afternoon) between the United States and Iran first indirectly, and then directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, an Iranian delegation led by Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, the speaker of Iran\u2019s parliament, traveled to Islamabad.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KABUL: J.D.
