KABUL: Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, said that maintaining the country\u2019s current freedoms depends on unity and solidarity among its people, according to a statement from Arg today.
He made the remarks, during his visit to Jawzjan province, in a meeting with religious scholars, tribal elders, and community leaders in the districts of Qosh Tepa and Darzab.
According to the statement, Hanafi said that Afghans achieved \u201creal freedom\u201d after the end of the occupation and emphasized that protecting it requires national unity, assured residents that authorities are working to address challenges across various sectors in a comprehensive manner.
Hanafi also announced plans to construct a branch canal from the Qosh Tepa Canal to Sheberghan, aimed at improving access to irrigation and drinking water in the province.
He added that multiple development projects are planned for implementation during the current year.
Local representatives welcomed the visit and expressed support for ongoing development initiatives, including road paving in Qosh Tepa and Darzab, as well as electricity supply projects in the area.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
