KABUL: Iran and the United States have reached agreements on the procedures and implementation mechanisms for future negotiations, according to Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran\u2019s Deputy Foreign Minister and head of the country\u2019s technical negotiating team.
According to ISNA, Gharibabadi said that following technical talks in Switzerland, it was decided that future negotiations would be overseen by a high-level committee. The committee will include Iran\u2019s Foreign Minister, the speaker of parliament, the U.S. vice president, and the Prime Ministers of Pakistan and Qatar.
He added that four working groups will be established to address sanctions relief, nuclear issues, reconstruction and economic development, as well as monitoring and implementation.
Gharibabadi also said that the two sides agreed on issuing a general license for the sale of Iranian oil, petroleum products, and related services, adding that the U.S. side has already issued the license.
