Also, in the projects, around 9,493 vehicles and heavy machines are being utilized in different sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The statement identified several major infrastructure projects currently under construction, including the second lane of the Kabul-Ghazni highway, the Salang highway, the Kunar-Nuristan road, the Dasht-e-Archi-Kunduz road, the Kandahar-Spin Boldak highway, the Maimana-Faryab road, the Kandahar-Helmand highway, the Badghis ring road, and the Qosh Tepa-Darzab route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officials stated that the primary goals of these projects are to improve the country\u2019s transportation network, facilitate travel and trade, and strengthen economic activity across Afghanistan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister\u2019s Office for Economic Affairs said in a statement that the Ministry of Public Works is currently working on 74 highway and road construction and rehabilitation projects across various provinces of the country.
