KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held a telephone conversation to discuss bilateral relations, regional developments, and the ongoing negotiations between the United States and Iran.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the two leaders also exchanged views on the latest developments in the region and ways to strengthen security and stability in the Middle East.
The report said Trump and Mohammed bin Salman emphasized the importance of ensuring maritime security and safeguarding international shipping routes, describing them as essential for regional stability and the global economy.
Both leaders also expressed support for diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting peace, security, and stability across the region.
