{"id":23125,"date":"2026-07-21T13:38:04","date_gmt":"2026-07-21T13:38:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/?p=23125"},"modified":"2026-07-21T13:38:05","modified_gmt":"2026-07-21T13:38:05","slug":"finance-ministry-announces-discounted-registration-for-undocumented-vehicles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/2026\/07\/21\/finance-ministry-announces-discounted-registration-for-undocumented-vehicles\/","title":{"rendered":"Finance Ministry announces discounted registration for undocumented vehicles"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KABUL: The Ministry of Finance has announced that the registration and taxation process for Afghanistan&#8217;s undocumented \u201cone-key\u201d hand vehicles has been extended until the end of the current fiscal year.<br>According to a ministry statement, the registration campaign has now resumed across seven administrative zones covering Kabul, Herat, Balkh, Nangarhar, Kandahar, Kunduz, Khost and Paktia.<br>The ministry said the revised policy takes into account the economic situation of vehicle owners and offers substantial discounts on registration fees.<br>Under the new scheme, ordinary vehicles manufactured between 1990 and 2004 will receive a 35% discount, while models from 2005 onward will benefit from a 60% discount.
