{"id":23131,"date":"2026-07-21T18:12:28","date_gmt":"2026-07-21T18:12:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/?p=23131"},"modified":"2026-07-21T18:12:29","modified_gmt":"2026-07-21T18:12:29","slug":"mullah-baradar-mirwais-azizi-review-multi-billion-dollar-power-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/2026\/07\/21\/mullah-baradar-mirwais-azizi-review-multi-billion-dollar-power-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Mullah Baradar, Mirwais Azizi review multi-billion-dollar power projects"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, met with Afghan investor Mirwais Azizi and his technical team to discuss the implementation of major electricity generation projects across the country.<br>According to the deputy PM\u2019s office, Azizi said that Investment Company of Azizi Energy has purchased all the technical equipment required to generate 10,000 megawatts of electricity, adding that the process of transporting the equipment to Afghanistan will begin soon.<br>A joint technical committee comprising representatives of government institutions and Azizi Energy also reported that feasibility studies have been completed for a 100-megawatt solar power project in Naghlu, Kabul province, another 100-megawatt solar project in Barikab, Parwan province, and a 131-megawatt solar project in Ghazni province.
