KABUL: The Ministry of Justice has said that the Special Court for Cases Involving Allegedly Usurped State Land in the Central Zone has ruled that 1,507.49 jeribs of land known as Omid Sabz Township, located in Kabul\u2019s Districts 6 and 13, is state-owned property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the ministry, the ruling was issued in Hamal 31 of the current solar year, after the court reviewed documents, records, and information submitted by various government institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The court found that the land, divided into five cadastral parcels, had been registered and surveyed in the name of the state and had not been legally transferred to any individual or legal entity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under the ruling, the land will be handed over to the Commission for the Prevention of Land Usurpation and the Recovery of Usurped Lands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The court also stated that current occupants or purchasers seeking compensation or reimbursement must pursue their claims against the sellers rather than the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The commission said it is responsible for implementing the court\u2019s ruling in accordance with applicable legal procedures and added that investigations into the status of other townships across the country are ongoing, with several already confirmed as state-owned land while additional cases remain under review.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
