KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister\u2019s Office for Economic Affairs, has said that the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee has reviewed two major construction proposals in the Kunduz and Balkh provinces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to a statement, the committee met at the Marble Palace to discuss a proposal for the construction of a 3,000-unit residential township in the Dasht-e Abdan area of Kunduz province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project was considered significant due to its economic value and existing demand, said the statement, adding that it has been referred to a designated committee for technical and financial assessment, which will submit its findings to the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee after completing a comprehensive evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting also reviewed a proposal to construct a mixed-use commercial and residential complex in Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the statement, the proposal has likewise been referred to the relevant committee for a detailed review, after which its report will be presented to the investment committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
