KABUL: Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, said at the \u201cGovernment in the Mirror of the Press\u201d program that state-owned companies made significant achievements in the oil and gas, silo and transport sectors during the 1447 Hijri year.
According to Radio Omid, Mujahid said the Afghan Oil and Gas State Enterprise completed 36 development projects involving filling stations, administrative buildings and oil storage facilities, while work on another 26 projects is ongoing.
The projects have created employment opportunities for more than 3,500 people.
Meanwhile, the central mill at the Kabul Silo was reactivated after nearly 35 years of inactivity following an investment of around 21 million Afghanis. The mill currently has the capacity to produce about 120 metric tons of flour every 24 hours.
The facility produces 27 types of products, including bread, cakes and cookies, which are distributed through 20 outlets across Kabul.
In the transport sector, the National Bus Company has launched three new routes in Kabul, while its branches in Kandahar and Nangarhar have also resumed operations. Passenger services have been launched in Maidan Wardak, and 26 vehicles have been repaired and returned to service.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
