{"id":24838,"date":"2026-09-14T03:38:36","date_gmt":"2026-09-14T03:38:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/?p=24838"},"modified":"2026-09-14T03:38:37","modified_gmt":"2026-09-14T03:38:37","slug":"oman-meeting-between-persian-gulf-states-and-iran-postponed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/2026\/09\/14\/oman-meeting-between-persian-gulf-states-and-iran-postponed\/","title":{"rendered":"Oman meeting between Persian Gulf states and Iran postponed"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KABUL: An eight-way regional meeting involving Iran, Iraq and the six Gulf Arab states has been postponed as efforts continue to reach a joint agreement, Oman\u2019s Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting was scheduled to take place in Salalah, Oman, with the participation of the foreign ministers of Iran, Iraq, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The talks were expected to focus on safe routes for commercial vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz and the security situation in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bahrain had previously said it would not participate in the meeting alongside Iran.
