{"id":26270,"date":"2026-10-20T08:33:58","date_gmt":"2026-10-20T08:33:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/?p=26270"},"modified":"2026-10-20T08:34:00","modified_gmt":"2026-10-20T08:34:00","slug":"reforming-private-healthcare-services-is-a-key-priority-jalali","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/2026\/10\/20\/reforming-private-healthcare-services-is-a-key-priority-jalali\/","title":{"rendered":"Reforming private healthcare services is a key priority, Jalali"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KABUL: The country\u2019s Minister of Public Health, Mawlavi Noor Jalal Jalali, says reforming private healthcare services is a ministry priority, with efforts underway to improve quality, reduce costs, and provide patients with better-standardized care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking at a meeting to announce the results of the accreditation and ranking assessment of private hospitals, Jalali said the evaluation had identified hospitals\u2019 strengths and weaknesses to help improve healthcare standards, according to Omid Radio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He noted that Afghans face significant economic challenges and stressed that cooperation from the private sector is essential to improving healthcare services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jalali also emphasized the need to eliminate handwritten prescriptions and said discussions had been held with foreign countries to strengthen cancer treatment services in Afghanistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He called on private investors to invest in the country\u2019s healthcare sector, saying suitable opportunities were now available.
