He also served as president of the Afghanistan Academy of Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He left behind 168 works, 120 of which have been published. His notable works include Arkan-e-Islam, Saqafat-e-Islami, Wadi-e-Gumgashtagan and Nai-Nawaz-e-Ghazna.
