{"id":7394,"date":"2024-11-30T11:13:57","date_gmt":"2024-11-30T11:13:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/?p=7394"},"modified":"2024-11-30T11:14:20","modified_gmt":"2024-11-30T11:14:20","slug":"afghanistans-imports-increase-over-1-billion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/2024\/11\/30\/afghanistans-imports-increase-over-1-billion\/","title":{"rendered":"Afghanistan&#8217;s imports increase over $1 billion"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KABUL: Afghanistan exported goods worth $667.3 million in the first six months of the current year, the Afghanistan National Statistic and Information Authority (NSIA) said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Afghanistan&#8217;s exports reached $720.9 million in the same period last year which shows a decrease of $53.6 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn the first six months of the previous year, the value of imports reached $4.5 billion, this year, there has been an increase of $1.2 billion in imports during the same period,\u201d said the statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the statement, fresh and dried fruits worth $167.1 million were exported in the first two quarters of this year. Also, medicinal herbs, minerals, and vegetables ranked second, third, and fourth with values of $119.7 million, $85.8 million, and $66.4 million, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe largest imports included petroleum products and pharmaceuticals, valued at $991.5 million.
