{"id":8680,"date":"2025-01-25T05:57:19","date_gmt":"2025-01-25T05:57:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/?p=8680"},"modified":"2025-01-25T05:57:22","modified_gmt":"2025-01-25T05:57:22","slug":"ministry-of-foreign-affairs-arrest-warrant-for-leader-and-chief-justice-of-iea-unjust-and-politically-motivated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/omidradio.com\/en\/2025\/01\/25\/ministry-of-foreign-affairs-arrest-warrant-for-leader-and-chief-justice-of-iea-unjust-and-politically-motivated\/","title":{"rendered":"Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Arrest warrant for Leader and Chief Justice of IEA unjust and politically motivated"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KABUL: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Friday that the arrest warrant issued against the esteemed Amir al-Mu&#8217;mineen Shaikh ul-Hadith Mawlavi Hebatullah Akhundzada and Shaikh Abdul Hakim Haqqani, the Chief Justice of the Islamic Emirate by a \u2018prosecutor\u2019 of the International Criminal Court (ICC) is unjust, lacking legal basis, and has political motives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the statement, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan strongly condemned and rejected the allegations presented in the ICC&#8217;s warrant as discriminatory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The warrant was issued at a time when nationwide security has been ensured, with personal prisons, kidnappings, power islands, warlords, and other inappropriate and inhumane activities eliminated, said the statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRegrettably, this institution had turned a blind eye to the war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by foreign forces and their domestic allies during their twenty-year occupation of Afghanistan.
