KABUL: Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada, stated Tuesday night that U.S. President Donald Trump is pursuing a “foolish” trade war aimed at destroying the Canadian economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He criticized Trump’s actions as misguided and unjustified, asserting that Canada and its people will not surrender to the U.S. president’s policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He noted that the imposition of a 25% tariff has led to increased unemployment and inflation, which will negatively impact Canada\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, he emphasized that the people of Canada are willing to pay any price to defend themselves and their country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the same time, Trudeau announced plans to implement similar 25% tariffs on billions of dollars worth of goods imported from the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
