Reconstruction of several schools begins in Kabul

KABUL: The reconstruction work of several state-run schools begins in Kabul, with a total cost of 14,570,000 Afghani (some 202,523 US Dollars), the Ministry of Education said in a statement.
According to the statement, the reconstruction process was inaugurated by a number of the ministry’s officials at one of the schools.
The project includes the construction of retaining walls and fences, sanitation facilities, extension of water systems, and other necessary components and will be implemented in the Daricha-e-Noor, Asef Mayel, Yusuf Shaheed, and Reshkhor primary schools in Kabul.
Without naming any specific organization, the Ministry of Education expressed its gratitude for the continued cooperation of institutions in strengthening the educational system in the country.
