GHAZNI: The Ghazni governor’s press office said in a statement on Sunday that a non-governmental organization has provided education opportunities for 34 orphaned children in Ghazni province.
According to the statement, Engineer Mujibur Rahman Saadat, the head of the HHRD organization, said that this organization, in collaboration with the Labor and Social Affairs Department, has provided a six-month tailoring and mobile phone repair training program for orphaned children in Ghazni province.
“Efforts are underway to provide similar professions for dozens of underprivileged families in the province,” the statement quoted him as saying.
The statement quoted the organization’s official as saying that cash, transportation, and food assistance have also been provided for the participants of the program.
Meanwhile, efforts are underway by both emirate and non-emirate institutions to provide economic opportunities in the country.
