Dozens of residential units to be built for Herat’s quake-affected families

KABUL: The Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) said in a statement on Saturday that the contract for the construction of 60 residential houses for quake-affected families of Herat province has been signed.

According to the statement, the contract was awarded transparently through a bidding process with the participation of eight contracting companies.

The winning company is expected to construct 60 residential units with the necessary amenities, for the quake-affected families, said the statement.
