Iran strikes U.S. bases across Gulf; air raid sirens sound in Qatar, Bahrain, UAE and Jordan

KABUL: Following U.S. airstrikes on southern Iran, Tehran launched missile and drone attacks targeting American military bases across several countries in the Gulf region.

According to reports, explosions were heard in Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan, where air defense systems intercepted a number of incoming missiles and drones.

Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior said its air defenses successfully neutralized Iranian missiles and drones, urging residents to remain calm and move to designated safe locations.

Qatari authorities also reported intercepting several missiles and drones over Doha, calling on residents to stay indoors and remain in secure shelters.

Meanwhile, the UAE Ministry of Defense said its air defense forces were actively responding to Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting the country.

Iranian media reported that Iranian forces had targeted U.S. military installations in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan.
