KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump has said Washington may soon target “Kuh-e Kolang” in Iran.
The mountain is located near Iran’s Natanz uranium-enrichment facility and contains two deep tunnel complexes, according to reports.
Trump described the ongoing confrontation with Iran as a “relatively small” matter for the United States and said the situation constitutes a military conflict.
He also repeated his claim that 18 U.S. service members have been killed during the ongoing confrontation with Iran.
Iranian officials have not yet commented on Trump’s remarks. Tehran has repeatedly warned in the past that it would respond forcefully to any attack.
