KABUL: Iran’s Foreign Ministry has summoned the British ambassador to Tehran and warned that it may review bilateral relations with the United Kingdom in response to allegations made by London.
The move follows remarks by the British prime minister, who accused Iran and its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of possible involvement in a security incident at RAF Fairford airbase.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry called on Britain to provide documented evidence to support its allegations, stressing that Tehran rejects any connection to the incident.
Iran warned that if London fails to substantiate its accusations with evidence, Tehran will conduct a serious review of its bilateral relations with Britain.
