KABUL: The Ministry of Water and Energy said that six projects valued at 51 million Afghanis have been completed and inaugurated by Mullah Abdul Latif Mansoor in Khost province.
In a statement released today, the ministry said the projects include a small reservoir dam, riverbank reinforcements, irrigation canals, and other water-related initiatives.
Mullah Mansoor described the implementation of these projects as vital for strengthening the country’s water resources.
“The Islamic Emirate has brought unity and security to the country, and comprehensive political, economic, and social policies are being adopted,” he said urging the Afghan people to cooperate with the Islamic Emirate in implementing these policies.
According to the ministry’s statement, thousands of families will benefit from these projects.
The acting minister inaugurated the first phase of the Kharwar Dam maintenance project in Logar, worth 31 million Afghanis, and opened the second phase costing 35 million Afghanis.
