KABUL: The construction of a development project valued at 17 million Afghanis has been completed and inaugurated in Parwan province.
The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in a statement told Omid Radio today that the project includes the construction of a retaining wall extending 70 meters in the Shinwari district of Parwan.
With the completion of this welfare project, residential homes and agricultural lands in the Shinwari district will be protected from water runoff hazards.
During the implementation of the project, job opportunities were also provided for dozens of individuals.
Shinwari is one of the four districts in the Ghorband Valley of Parwan province, located along the river route of this valley.
