KABUL: The Ministry of Industry and Commerce said a high-level delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic arrived in Kabul on Tuesday.
The ministry stated that the delegation, led by the Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan, includes deputy ministers from the ministries of trade, energy, and transportation, as well as representatives from the private sector.
The delegation is visiting Kabul at the official invitation of the Afghan Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
During their stay in Afghanistan, the delegation is expected to meet with officials from the Islamic Emirate and participate in a trade connectivity conference as well as bilateral meetings.
Additionally, the delegation plans to visit several industrial sectors in Afghanistan.
Kyrgyzstan is one of the countries in the region that has strong political and economic ties with Afghanistan.
