KABUL: Andrey Belousov, Defense Minister of Russia, has arrived in North Korea on an official visit, according to reports.
During the trip, Belousov is expected to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un as well as senior military officials.
Discussions are likely to focus on strengthening military cooperation and addressing key security issues between the two countries.
The visit comes amid growing attention to expanding political and defense ties at both regional and global levels.
