KABUL: The High Commission for Addressing Refugee Issues has said that 363 families, comprising 1,950 people, returned to the country through various border crossings over the past 24 hours.
According to the commission’s report, 318 families, totaling 1,810 people, have been transported to their respective provinces.
The report states that 355 returning families received a total of 24.04 million Afghanis in cash assistance and 363 SIM cards were distributed, and 1,163 families were allocated residential land plots.
The commission added that since the launch of the land distribution program, a total of 65,155 residential land plots have been allocated to returning Afghan families.
