KABUL: A senior delegation from Afghanistan’s Ministry of Interior has told an international security conference in China that Afghanistan, after decades of war, is now moving toward peace and stability.
The delegation also shared the Islamic Emirate’s position on Afghanistan’s security situation, security policies, and regional and international security cooperation, calling for greater cooperation based on “mutual respect.”
The Afghan delegation assured participants that Afghanistan, which has emerged from years of conflict and is moving toward stability, would not allow its territory to be used to “destabilize” any other country.
The delegation also stressed the need to expand security cooperation with China and other countries in the region to combat terrorism, narcotics, smuggling, and organized crime.
