KABUL: A technical delegation from Afghanistan’s Ministry of Public Health, led by Mawlavi Hamdullah Zahid, deputy minister for Food and Medicines, has traveled to India and held meetings with officials from several institutions in the country.
According to sources, the meetings focused on finalizing cooperation agreements, assessing pharmaceutical factories in India, and discussing the import of food products into Afghanistan.
The talks were held with officials from India’s relevant food and medicine institutions and the country’s Ministry of AYUSH.
The two sides also agreed to continue online meetings between relevant officials to further expand health cooperation between Afghanistan and India.
