KABUL: Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya says Israel’s upcoming elections are being held at the ransom of Palestinian blood and their rights.
Al-Hayya stressed that Hamas’ main focus is achieving Palestinian sovereignty and independence.
He made the remarks as Israel is scheduled to hold elections on October 27.
The elections are taking place as Israeli attacks on Gaza continue, keeping the future of Palestine, its independence and sovereignty among the region’s key issues.
