KABUL: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi says Egypt is ready to take action to protect Saudi Arabia’s security and defense if Riyadh requests it.
Speaking at a military graduation ceremony, Sisi said Egypt does not intend to attack any side but would not allow Saudi Arabia’s security and stability to be threatened.
He also called on the Egyptian parliament to hold an emergency session to assess the situation.
